This position supports internal org talent needs within Intel Foundry Automation, focusing on engineering solutions for middleware stack solutions like Apache Kafka, imConnectRR, and imConnectPS on imcloud. The role involves shaping the future of technology, pushing forward fields like AI, analytics, and cloud-to-edge technology, and creating seamless and efficient software solutions that bridge the gap between applications and systems.
Good To Have:
  • Active US Government TS/SCI Security Clearance.
  • Master's degree in computer science or similar STEM field with 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with VB Script, DCOM, MSMQ, WCF, web services, and general integration challenges and solutions, and experience working with Microsoft solutions.
  • Experience leveraging open-source packages, modern architectural frameworks, stateless/stateful workloads, PVC, Config-Maps, Secrets, Security, Network resources.
  • Experience with Kubernetes deployments, GitHub CI/CD, Helm charts, Canary Testing.
  • Experience with Authentication/Authorization technologies such as OAuth.
Must Have:
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain US Government TS Security Clearance and SCI access.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in computer science or similar STEM field with 3+ years of relevant experience.

Intel's Foundry Technology and Manufacturing Automation organization is seeking a software application engineer to work in the middleware team engineering solutions on middleware stack solutions like apache kafka, imConnectRR, imConnectPS on imcloud.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain US Government TS Security Clearance and SCI access.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in computer science or similar STEM field with 3+ years of relevant experience.
