Job Description

We are seeking talented engineers to join our Horizontal Capabilities Team. The team builds core frameworks, shared services, reusable components, and productivity tools for faster, more reliable delivery across all product lines. This role involves developing and maintaining full-stack applications using React, Node.js/Java/Go, designing cloud-native architectures, working with relational and NoSQL databases, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring product quality through automated tests.
Must have:
  • Develop and maintain full stack applications using React on the frontend and Node.js / Java / Go on the backend
  • Collaborate with the team to design and implement distributed, cloud-native architectures
  • Work with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and DynamoDB
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following coding best practices
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools
  • Develop and execute automated tests (unit, integration, and end-to-end) to ensure product quality
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application performance and reliability issues
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team discussions on architecture and design
  • 3+ years of professional software development experience with full stack applications
  • Expertise in React.js and at least one of Node.js, Java or Go
  • Understanding of system design fundamentals for scalable applications
  • Strong Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, including analytics databases
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Good to have:
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, AWS CDK)
  • Experience building and deploying applications and services into cloud environments (AWS desired)

Position Overview

The team is responsible for building the core frameworks, shared services, reusable components and productivity tools that enable faster and more reliable delivery across all product lines. This includes designing and implementing common modules, frameworks, and automation solutions that eliminate duplication and allow product teams to focus on business innovation.

Our focus is on creating scalable and extensible systems that serve as building blocks for product teams. By joining this team, you will play a key role in strengthening the foundation of all applications and enabling consistent, faster, and higher-quality delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain full stack applications using React on the frontend and Node.js / Java / Go on the backend
  • Collaborate with the team to design and implement distributed, cloud-native architectures
