Job Description

The Software Engineer position is part of the Front Office Suite (FOS) engineering team responsible for designing, developing, and testing essential front office components on Clearwater Analytics' Beacon platform. You will work closely with our clients, which include investment banks, asset managers, hedge funds, insurance companies, and commodities trading companies.

Good To Have:

Familiarity with streaming technologies like Kafka and Redis
Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL database technologies
Familiarity with cloud computing such as AWS or Azure
Exposure to multiple programming languages and paradigms

Must Have:

Design, develop, and test essential front office components on Clearwater Analytics' Beacon platform.
Work closely with clients including investment banks, asset managers, hedge funds, insurance companies, and commodities trading companies.
Develop, test, and support market data ingestion.
Develop, test, and support time series framework.
Develop, test, and support trade ingestion/high frequency trades.
Develop, test, and support ETL/Data pipelines.
Develop, test, and support integrations with third-party systems.
Add features to Beacon’s framework for easy developing and deploying of applications.
Provide ongoing support and enhancement of the Beacon Platform.
3-5 years of software engineering experience.
Work experience with financial instruments.
High proficiency in Python.
Fundamentals of software engineering such as data structures and algorithms.
Exposure to database programming (SQL).
Strong problem-solving skills.

Providing ongoing support and enhancement of the Beacon Platform
