Job Summary
Job Description
This role is for a highly proactive, self-motivated, and experienced Software Development Engineer in Test. The primary responsibility involves testing and evaluating the quality of Trend Micro's Virus-Scan Engine and Advanced Threat Scan Engine. Key tasks include writing and reviewing code (C/C++/Perl/Python), analyzing emerging threats, collaborating with cross-functional teams on threat detection patterns and technical solutions, and developing/maintaining automation scripts for testing to ensure high-quality scan engine delivery.
Must have:
- Testing and evaluating the quality of Trend Micro Virus-Scan Engine and Advanced Threat Scan Engine.
- Write/review codes to evaluate quality (focus on C/C++/Perl/Python).
- Analyze and research emerging threats.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design threat detection patterns and review technical solutions.
- Deliver high-quality scan engines.
- Create/Maintain automation scripts/process/system for testing.
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related field.
- Highly proactive, self-motivated and good team work.
- Experience in programming languages (C, C++, Perl, Python).
- Experience in Windows Operation system.
- Good English communication skills.
- 2+ years of test automation experience.
Good to have:
- Hands-on experience in performance testing or optimization for large-scale software systems.
- Exposure to software security testing methodologies and tools.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code in multiple programming languages.
- Familiarity with scripting for automation.

Overview

Below are some examples which you might be involved:

Qualification/Requirement
