The Accounts Payable Specialist at Trend Micro is responsible for timely and accurate processing of high-volume trade invoices, employee expense reports, intercompany invoices, and non-PO related invoices within the EMEA region. This dynamic role involves ensuring compliance with company policies, reconciling vendor accounts, managing supplier relationships, preparing payment runs, and contributing to process improvements and automation. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, with a drive for continuous learning and improvement.
Must have:
  • Process high-volume Trade Invoices & Employee Expense Reports timely and accurately.
  • Process intercompany invoices & non-PO related invoices, ensuring accurate coding & approval.
  • Ensure transactions comply with company policies & procedures.
  • Ensure accuracy in data entry and work to tight deadlines.
  • Reconcile vendor accounts.
  • Maintain accounts payable aging report & debit balances.
  • Effectively manage relationships with suppliers and internal business partners.
  • Prepare payment runs.
  • Assist in the development & continuous improvement of AP processes and drive automation.
  • Drive to improve Key Performance Indicators in Accounts Payable.
Good to have:
  • Fluency in additional European languages
  • Certification or Degree in Accounting or Business
  • Experience interning in a multinational organisation
  • ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) experience

Duties & Responsibilities:

As an AP Specialist, no two days will be the same and you will work in a diverse and dynamic role. Your main responsibilities will include but not are limited to:

  • Processing a high-volume Trade Invoices & Employee Expense Reports timely and accurately.
  • Processing intercompany invoices & non-PO related invoices, ensuring accurate coding & approval for payment.
  • Ensure transactions are performed in conjunction with company policies & procedures.
  • Ensure accuracy in data entry and ability to working to tight deadlines.
  • Reconciling vendor accounts.
  • Maintain accounts payable aging report & debit balances.
  • Effectively manage the relationship with both suppliers and internal business partners.
  • Prepare payment runs.
  • Assist in the development & continuous improvement of the accounts payable processes and driving automation opportunities.
  • Drive to improve the Key Performance Indicators in all areas of the Accounts Payable function.

You are:

  • Highly motivated and proactive
  • Flexible and adaptable to change
  • Fluent in English, fluency in additional European languages desirable but not essential
  • Excellent in communication and organisational skills
  • Organized and able to manage your time effectively

You have:

  • Certification or Degree in Accounting or Business is desirable.
  • Experience in an Accounts Payable position in a multinational/shared service centre.
  • Highly motivated business/finance graduates seeking this role as an entry point to a Finance career will also be considered. Experience interning in a multinational organisation is a bonus.
  • ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) experience is preferable but not essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to deliver accurate & high quality work.
  • The drive to continuously learn and look for improvements.
