Software Engineer II, Google Cloud
Job Description
- Experience with web application development, Unix/Linux environments, mobile application development, distributed and parallel systems, machine learning, information retrieval, networking, developing large software systems or security software development
- Excellent communication skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 1+ years software development (Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript)
- 1+ years experience with data structures/algorithms
- 1+ years full-stack development experience
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain software
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
- 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
- 1 year of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, GO, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with two or more from the following, web application development, Unix/Linux environments, mobile application development, distributed and parallel systems, machine learning, information retrieval, networking, developing large software systems or security software development.
- Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software.
- Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
- Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
