As a Software Engineer II on the User Protections, Core team at Google in Zurich, Switzerland, you'll build the technical foundation for Google's products. Responsibilities include automating data analysis, anomaly detection, and metrics collection; ensuring data quality for machine learning models; participating in on-call system maintenance; and collaborating with partners like Trust and Safety, Ads, and Payments. Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
1 year of experience implementing core machine learning concepts.

Preferred qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Experience in backend and machine learning.
Experience in both backend development and machine learning.
Proficiency in C++ programming language with a desire for continuous learning.

Responsibilities

Automate our processes for data analysis, anomaly detection, and metrics collection.
Work on data collection and data quality, as needed for our models.
Participate in the team's on-duty to maintain our systems.
Work closely with current and future partners and clients, such as Trust and Safety, Ads, Payments.
