Apple engineers have always focused on one person when they build software — the person who will use it. Working in our Software Group (SWE) you’ll see why every Apple product and service feels intuitive and simple, and why every aspect of this group’s work is built around a respect for the customer’s needs. Apple’s Graphics, Games, and Machine Learning group, (GGML) provides the media, graphics, and on-device machine learning foundation across all of Apple's innovative products, from iPhone, iPad, MacBook, Apple TV, to VisionPro, and macOS, as well as Apple’s professional and consumer applications. GGML drives Apple’s graphics experiences with core technologies such as Metal, OpenGL, OpenCL, Core Animation, Pro Display pipelines, drivers, GPU compilers, and more. Join our release and automation team and help design and deliver Fullstack solutions used by the entire org for tracking and releasing this groundbreaking technology at scale into every operating system.
The GGML Release Engineering team partners on all GPU related technology and anything with a display - including HomePod! We cover everything from boot layer, frameworks, OS, compilers and AR. This presents a fascinating range of opportunities to work on while supporting the org. As a Release Engineer you'll collaborate closely with technical and non-technical colleagues, working cross-functionally across SWE, to develop, maintain, and migrate our internal tools and websites into the cloud. If this is you we'd love to hear from you!
