FICO is seeking a full-time Senior Engineer for Software Engineering. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based services for FICO’s Decision Management Platform. Key responsibilities include software deployment architecture design, automation for on-premises and cloud infrastructure (AWS), training and mentoring junior team members, troubleshooting production issues, collaborating with various teams (development, QA, IT, Security), automating validation for CI/CD, implementing and supporting microservices in Kubernetes, and developing distributed Java applications using MySql, MongoDB, and Postgres on AWS. The position also requires designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes, and supporting Big Data tools like Hadoop and Kafka. Experience with multi-tier architectures and web servers like Tomcat and Nginx is also expected. Domestic travel up to 10% is required.

Fair Isaac Corporation seeks a full-time Software Engineering - Senior Engineer. Telecommuting available from anywhere in US. HQ at Bozeman, MT. The primary duty of the Software Engineering - Senior Engineer is to design, implement and maintain cloud-based services underlying FICO’s Decision Management Platform.  1) Specific duties include: Software deployment architecture design, automation for both on-premises and cloud infrastructure including AWS cloud. 2) Train and mentor junior team members on the existing design and intended function of the FICO Decision Management Platform core services. 3) Troubleshoot production and non-production issues and coordinate with other development team members to streamline code deployment. 4) Collaborate tightly with a team of FICO development, QA, support, IT and Security teams. 5) Automate validation of the platform services for CI/CD. 6) Implement and support microservices deployed in Kubernetes. 7) Develop and maintain distributed Java applications that uses MySql, MongoDB and Postgres and deployed on AWS cloud. 8) Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for microservices with dockerized containers and managed by Kubernetes. Domestic travel required up to 10% of the time. May telecommute from any location in the U.S. HQ at Bozeman, MT.

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in a software deployment architecture design or related position. Must also have three (3) years of experience with each of the following: 1) Software Design, development and automation for on-premises and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure). 2) Hands on experience using Databases MySql, Elasticsearch and Postgres. 3) Implementing microservices using Java, Spring Boot, Python. 4) Designing and developing application in Docker, Kubernetes and OpenShift. 5) Support of Big Data tools: Hadoop and Kafka. 6) Managing and/or developing on Tomcat and Nginx web servers. 7) Experience working with multi-tier architectures: load balancers, caching, web servers, application servers and databases. 8) Developing with Configuration management and automation tools including Jenkins. All experience may have been gained concurrently. Experience must have been acquired after completion of the Bachelor’s Degree program. Domestic travel required up to 10% of the time.
