Join the Sensing and Connectivity team to work on Location Technologies that power critical experiences in Apple products. We build highly innovative and deeply impactful location features based on core wireless technologies such as GNSS, Ultra Wide Band (UWB), WiFi, and Bluetooth. These technologies are foundational for Maps, Fitness applications, Proximity sensing features like AirTags UWB Precise finding, and Indoor Location/iBeacons. As a member of our dynamic group, you will have the opportunity to craft upcoming products. We are seeking an individual to help build automation infrastructure, automated tests, and tools to enhance our QA processes and deliver the best location experience. The Location Software Quality team undertakes special projects for the Sensing and Connectivity groups, ranging from developing data crowdsourcing systems to prototyping apps & features for future OS releases. We are looking for an engineer with a deep understanding of wireless technologies and their possibilities for improved positioning. You will work closely with developers and cross-functional stakeholders to understand features and use data-driven test results to influence the end product. Your programming skills will be used to automate test processes, data analysis, and reporting.
