This Solution Consultant role involves collaborating with specialized teams for market development, designing demos, and providing technical sales support to partners and prospects. The consultant will understand customer needs, demonstrate Domo's capabilities, manage pilot projects, and build effective sales strategies for F500 clients, ensuring successful PoC/Pilot deliveries.

  • Provide demos to partners and technical sales support for new prospects.
  • Ensure high-level field support for the best partner-focused sales experience.
  • Understand partner needs and reflect them in Domo capability demonstrations.
  • Manage pilot projects and collaborate on differentiated proposals.
  • Understand customer goals and challenges to position Domo as the best solution.
  • Manage technical aspects of complex sales with field personnel.
  • Present Domo's technology, infrastructure, security, and roadmap.
  • Effectively respond to RFI, RFP, and technical questions from prospects.
  • Confirm customer requirements and explain Domo's performance in meeting them.
  • Build effective sales strategies for F500 customers with sales reps.
  • Ensure successful customer PoC/Pilot through hands-on delivery and issue resolution.
  • Educate partners and support deals for maximizing Domo's success.
  • Develop and conduct excellent corporate/product presentations and demonstrations.
  • Perform cold calling for new customer acquisition.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Solution Consultants collaborate with specialized teams to conduct innovative and creative market development, designing new demo interfaces and demo configurations that showcase the platform's power. There will also be opportunities to provide demos to partners and technical sales support to acquire new prospects. The goal of this team is to ensure high-level field support to provide the best sales experience focused on partners. This includes understanding partner company needs, reflecting those needs in demonstrations of Domo's functional and technical capabilities, managing pilot projects, and collaborating with sales teams on differentiated proposals.
  • Understand customer goals and challenges, and establish Domo products as the best solution.
  • Collaborate with field personnel to manage the technical aspects of complex sales.
  • Present Domo's technology, infrastructure, security, and roadmap.
  • Effectively respond to RFI, RFP, and technical questions from prospects.
  • Confirm customer requirements and effectively explain Domo's performance in meeting these requirements.
  • Work with sales representatives to build effective sales strategies for F500 customers.
  • Ensure successful customer PoC/Pilot through hands-on delivery, effective management of acceptance criteria, and issue escalation/resolution.
  • Educate partners and support deals to maximize Domo's success through effective guidance and product positioning.
  • Develop and conduct excellent corporate/product presentations and demonstrations for 1:1 and 1:many audiences.
  • Cold calling for new customer acquisition will also occur.

Application Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Over 5 years of experience as a Sales Consultant or Sales Engineer in an enterprise software/IT/BI company, with extensive customer interaction experience.
  • Knowledge of general data (database RBMS, NoSQL, data flow, data mapping).
  • Knowledge of related applications, SaaS models, relational databases, and web technologies.
  • Sales experience with analytics and BI solutions.
  • Proficiency in SQL.
  • Ability to solve business and technical problems as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Time management skills in a dynamic sales environment.
  • Results-oriented, highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Entrepreneurial experience and mindset.
  • Ability to process details accurately and timely.
  • Self-starter with problem-solving abilities.
