Solution Engineers (SEs) collaborate with Account Executives (AEs) to propose optimal solutions from a technical perspective to solve customers' business challenges. Commonly referred to as "pre-sales engineers" or "technical sales," SEs are expected to build customer trust and create long-term impact based on a strong combination of technical and sales skills.
The Insurance and Healthcare Account SE team, for which we are currently recruiting, focuses on solution proposal activities specifically targeting customers in the insurance and healthcare industries.
We deeply understand our customers' business challenges and create and conduct customized demos to help them visualize concrete solutions. We also strongly support customer success through a wide range of activities, including creating account plans and proposals with sales representatives, and speaking at seminars and events.
Furthermore, leveraging the expertise gained from daily proposal activities, we also create solution maps for various industries, industry-specific demos, proposal templates, and SalesPlays (systematic sales scenarios for selling specific products or services).
The "Solution Engineer Support" role, for which we are currently recruiting, is a member of the Solutions team. You will be responsible for creating Salesforce product demos and demo videos, and assisting with the creation of various proposal materials, contributing to optimal solution proposals that solve customer challenges, enabling SEs to effectively carry out sales activities.
Specifically, you will primarily be responsible for the following tasks, but not limited to them:
1. Demo Creation Support
- Support the creation of demos used for customer proposals and events.
- Set up content planned by SEs in the Salesforce environment.
- Update data and maintain the latest features of shared Salesforce demo environments.
※You will receive necessary Salesforce training after joining the company.
2. Demo Video Creation
- Operate the created demo according to the script prepared by the SE and record it as a video.
- Process the recorded video by deleting unnecessary parts and adjusting the time to make it easy to view.
- Add audio to the processed video using AI voice narration software.
3. Other Support Tasks
- Create simple external slides or make partial revisions based on SE requests.
- Provide administrative support for daily tasks, such as organizing information necessary for team operations.
※This recruitment role is not directly involved in customer sales proposal activities but is a support role for SEs who handle technical sales. You will perform tasks by collaborating with internal stakeholders such as SEs and AEs, based on your technical knowledge and skills.
- Native-level Japanese.
- Self-understanding of one's own disability and readiness to work stably.
- Problem-solving ability (proactively researching on internal SNS or Google and asking colleagues).
- Basic PC skills & strong IT user skills (proficient in MS Office, Google Spreadsheets, etc.).
- Experience in simple video creation and editing.
- Experience in creating proposals and sales materials for customers and external parties (creating with MS PowerPoint/Google Slide, modifying templates and fonts).
- Ability to learn new technologies and products, strong curiosity.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Experience in system development or programming.
- Experience in pre-sales or consulting.
- Experience with various application software for video production/generation/editing, voice narration, etc., such as:
- Screen recording: QuickTime Player, etc.
- Video editing/processing: Camtasia, etc.
- Voice synthesis, narration: VOICEPEAK, etc.
- English language skills (understanding global content, TOEIC 600 level).
- Experience using CRM products like Salesforce.
- Experience using communication tools like Slack.
- Work will be at our office or remotely from home.
- Ability to autonomously perform tasks in a remote environment while collaborating with team members (information exchange primarily via Slack and Google Meet web conferences).
- You will acquire knowledge of multiple Salesforce products and skills in creating demo videos.
- Through demo creation, you will acquire advanced knowledge, including the utilization of generative AI.
