Job Description

Salesforce, the #1 AI CRM, is seeking a Lead Solution Engineer for the Manufacturing industry. This role involves acting as a business and technical advisor to clients, collaborating with sales and other teams to propose Salesforce solutions. Key responsibilities include developing solutions for business challenges, creating and conducting solution demonstrations, and preparing detailed proposals for solution design and implementation.
Good To Have:
  • Knowledge of multiple Salesforce products (e.g., Manufacturing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Tableau, Slack, MuleSoft, Data Cloud).
  • Experience with enterprise accounts.
  • Track record of delivering sales presentations to executives.
  • Successful experience in presales, marketing, project management, or consulting roles.
  • Experience/qualification as an enterprise architect.

Department Description

Role Description

1. Solution proposal activities targeting manufacturing industry clients

  • Formulate solutions for customer business challenges and needs, and support the planning of future-oriented business transformation and systemization.
  • Create and conduct solution demos as concrete images of solutions for key challenges.
  • Prepare proposals focusing on solution design and implementation plans.

2. Creation of various sales materials

  • Utilize know-how gained from proposal activities to create industry-specific solution maps, industry-specific demos, and proposal templates.

3. Support marketing activities by speaking at seminars & events and conducting demonstrations.

Basic requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in presales, solution proposal, project management, or consulting in a consulting firm, system integrator, or software company.
  • Experience in solution proposals and project delivery for manufacturing industry clients.
  • Ability to create optimal proposals for customers by combining technical knowledge and industry understanding.
  • Architecture review skills to make proposed solutions feasible.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Logical analysis and problem-solving ability.
  • Goal-oriented thinking.
  • Leadership and influence to promote team cooperation.
  • Fluent Japanese and conversational English.
