Job Description

TikTok's Solutions Engineering team is seeking a Solutions Engineer to help clients and partners thrive on the platform. Responsibilities include developing and managing relationships with clients' technical staff, driving joint engineering roadmaps, working with sales partners to identify business opportunities, building customized solutions, and influencing product development. This role requires 3+ years of experience shipping production-quality code, familiarity with programming languages (Python, Go, Java, C/C++), effective communication of technical concepts, collaboration skills, and knowledge of API and backend systems design. The ideal candidate will have experience leading engineering projects and working with large-volume data analytics in advertising technology. As a Solutions Engineer, you will not only have the opportunity to identify and solve challenges by architecting and building solutions but, more importantly, prioritize client success and work cross-functionally to help them reach their business objectives. Responsibilities: • Develop and manage relationships with customers' and partners' technical staff, and manage and drive joint engineering roadmaps. • Work with sales partners to identify business opportunities for advertisers' business goals. • Build and ship new products as well as end-to-end customized solutions in collaboration with the Ads product engineering teams. • Influence the roadmap of product development to solve business challenges.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: • 3+ years of experience shipping production-quality code. • Familiar with one or more general-purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Python, Go, Java, C/C++. • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences. • Ability to collaborate with various sized stakeholder groups internally and externally. • Demonstrated knowledge of API and backend systems design." Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with leading engineering projects as a tech lead. • Experience in advertising technology working with large volume data analytics.
