Our Sous Chefs are integral to providing an exceptional dining experience. Responsibilities include strict adherence to health and safety guidelines, maintaining food stock levels, and planning and directing meal preparation consistent with company standards. This role involves managing day-to-day culinary operations, supporting staff scheduling, and ordering inventory. Ideal candidates thrive in an energetic, fast-paced, and social atmosphere, ensuring high-quality food service and operational efficiency.
Must have:
  • Understand and effectively follow all Company values, policies, and procedures
  • Manage day-to-day culinary operations and ensure healthy and safe work practices
  • Support the scheduling of culinary staff in accordance with business demands, trends, and budget
  • Order inventory and culinary supplies and inspect deliveries
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Valid Food Handler’s certificate
  • 2-5 years’ experience in a similar environment
  • Knowledge of methods and procedures for serving food
  • Knowledge of principles of sanitation and safe food handling
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and direct a team
  • Schedule flexibility to work extended hours as required

What you will do:

Sous Chef - TRR or Playdium

Our Sous Chefs are an integral part of the team who provide an exceptional dining experience to each and every guest. Sous Chefs have a range of responsibilities in the kitchen including strict adherence to health and safety guidelines, maintaining food stock levels throughout the day, and planning and directing the preparation of meals consistent with company standards. In this role, your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Understand and effectively follow all Company values, policies, and procedures to protect and enhance the Brand and promote a positive company culture.
  • Manage day-to-day culinary operations and ensure healthy and safe work practices.
  • Support the scheduling of culinary staff in accordance with business demands, trends, and budget in a timely manner.
  • When needed, order inventory and culinary supplies in accordance with stock levels and receive and inspect deliveries when they arrive.
  • Other duties assigned as required.

Qualifications:

This role may be a perfect fit for you if:

  • You have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • You have a valid Food Handler’s certificate.
  • You have 2-5 years’ experience in a similar environment.
  • You have knowledge of methods and procedures for serving food, principles of sanitation and principles of safe food handling and demonstrated ability to lead and direct a team.
  • You have schedule flexibility to work extended hours as required.
  • A professional diploma or food services management is an asset but not required.
