The Impact of Business Intelligence to Coupa and it’s customers:

We are looking for an experienced Sr BI Developer in our offshore office. This role bridges the gap between business requirements and data analytics, ensuring the fulfillment of analytics requests using Tableau. The ideal candidate will be advanced in Tableau, skilled in building complex dashboards and data models, and adept at administration. The candidate must also excel in building strong relationships with business stakeholders and collaborating with data modelers and data architects.

What You'll Do:

• Design and Develop Dashboards: Create sophisticated Tableau dashboards to visualize data insights effectively, ensuring they meet business requirements and enhance decision-making.
• Data Analytics Techniques: Utilize best practices to analyze and interpret complex data sets, providing actionable insights.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including data modelers and data architects, to understand business needs and translate them into analytics solutions.
• Governance and Data Integrity: Ensure adherence to governance practices, maintaining data integrity and security across all analytics processes.
• Tableau Administration: Manage Tableau administration tasks such as user management, access control, and performance optimization to ensure efficient and secure operations.
• Sigma Training and Administration: Support the business with self-service enablement and training.
• Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, effectively communicating and collaborating to understand and meet their analytics needs.
• Industry Trends and Best Practices: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in data analytics and visualization to continually enhance the BI capabilities.
• Leadership: Demonstrate strong leadership qualities, guiding and mentoring teams without direct management responsibilities, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

What You'll Bring To Coupa:

• Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in designing Tableau dashboards, data analytics, and best practices.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics).
• Expertise: Strong understanding of database technology and BI self-service models.
• Proficiency: Advanced skills in Tableau, including administration tasks such as user management and access control.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build data models and interpret and analyze complex data sets (DBT experience a plus)
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Self-Starter: Creative mindset with the ability to work independently and proactively.
• Governance Knowledge: Familiarity with governance practices and data integrity principles.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
