About the role

The Senior Test Automation Engineer will be responsible for implementing automated tests, tools and systems in Python to verify the firmware & hardware of our cutting edge microinverter and battery systems.

What you will be doing

• Python programming 
• Preparing and executing automated test plans 
• Automating test equipment such as oscilloscopes, grid simulators, solar array simulators, precision power meters, etc.
• Debugging software and hardware problems 
• Creating and maintaining continuous integration systems with Jenkins
• Requirement and test management knowledge using Jama

Who you are and what you bring

• 5+ years related experience and a BE/ master's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience
• Object oriented programming with Python 
• An understanding of test methodologies 
• An understanding of basic electrical engineering concepts, including circuit theory and power systems 
• Good written and verbal communication
