Aristocrat is seeking a Sr. Game Mathematician I to contribute to their expanding digital gaming division in India. This role involves managing day-to-day operations of a team of game mathematicians and designers, focusing on the development of online slots and table games for real money gaming. Responsibilities include calculating and verifying math models for game RTPs, hit frequencies, and standard deviations; collaborating with designers on game creation and improvement; building and mentoring the team; participating in project planning and risk mitigation; ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables; and working with senior management to achieve business goals. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience, a strong mathematical background (Master's degree in Statistics a plus), proficiency in Excel, programming skills (C/C++ preferred), and excellent communication skills.

Aristocrat has established itself as a leader in digital casino gaming over the past decade. To strengthen it further, it is expanding digital gaming in iGaming domain. Aristocrat India is participating in this opportunity to establish a new team to pursue this business initiative.
The purpose of this job posting is to be build strong end to end game math development and produce online slot, Table game design concepts and help delivery team for this upcoming exciting initiative. The Candidate will manage the day-to-day operations, in India comprising for Game mathematicians/design in real money Gaming.
The Person will work closely with all Stakeholders to work on both Strategic and Tactical levels while guiding the delivery of Projects
throughout their life cycle.

What You'll Do

Responsible for all math model calculations for assigned games, including return to player percentages, hit frequencies, standard deviations, and other metrics as appropriate.
Verification math models and calculations. Ensuring RTPs are matching.
Verifying and analyzing math models using programming tools.
Collaborating with other Game Designers and Mathematicians on new ideas, game reviews and improvements to games in production.
Build team and enhance its competencies to deliver Digital Real Money Games as per business requirements in fast changing exciting environment.
Participate in planning activities - Identify dependencies and follow up to their resolution. Identify and raise risks in a timely manner and take necessary action to mitigate the same.
Ensure timely deliveries with agreed quality of all the tasks undertaken by the team.
Work with Sr. Management to accomplish business goals.
Peer reviewing other Game Designer and Mathematicians’ math models and documentation.
Coming up with new game ideas with an insight of what can work well in market.
Schedule and manage time efficiently – work with agile development leaders to plan work
Deliver assets on time to specification with a thorough and complete attention to detail
Responsible for having peer reviews to check work for accuracy and quality
Various other duties includes:
Game Documentation as per business need
Collaborate with multi-disciplined teams to achieve the highest quality games possible
Follow guidelines set by management to manage / develop art assets to support business
Bring in ideas/innovations to improve the overall testing process in terms of tools, processes etc.
work collaboratively with global team/studio Leads for status updates, guidance and working as one team to deliver defined goals.
Participation in after business hours calls as per business need.

What We're Looking For

3-5 years’ experience candidate with Master’s degree (or higher) with a strong mathematical component and specializing in Statistics is a plus
Expertise in the full software/project life cycle, including specifications, requirements analysis, design/architecture, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
Experience in managing team developing digital gaming content will be a plus.
Proficiency in Excel.
Programming skills desirable (C/C++ preferred).
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail.
Creativity.
Must have good verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with global stakeholders
Suggests ideas to improve the overall testing process in terms of tools, processes, test cases etc.
