Sr. Illustrator and Motion Designer

Expected compensation: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour

HireArt is helping Woven by Toyota hire an experienced Sr. Illustrator and Motion Designer to help define and implement Woven by Toyota’s illustration and motion design language.

In this role, you’ll think critically about how illustration and motion reinforce and enhance interactivity and delight their users. You’ll apply your passion for illustration and animation to simplify complex interactions and solve challenging design problems.

We're looking for candidates with at least 8 years of experience in product design, iconography, motion design, and core illustration.

As a Sr. Illustrator And Motion Designer, You'll

• Define the look and feel of company products through illustration and motion design.
• Create a new iconography design language for new UI experiences.
• Provide patterns, best practices, and guidance on illustration, animation, and transitions for different HW components in the car.
• Create high-quality designs, illustrations, iconography, and motion graphic proposals and drive projects from concept to iterations and implementation.
• Drive project priorities in alignment with project goals, and coordinate the allocation of priorities accordingly.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Animation, Human-Computer Interaction, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 8+ years of experience in product design, iconography, motion design, and core illustration, with at least 4 years as the project lead
• Motion design experience related to physics, patterns, and visual design elements
• Understanding principles of illustrations and animation and experience with using illustration and animation AI tools
• The ability to fuse creativity to deliver cutting-edge interactions, using illustration and motion to a narrative effect, and understanding the future of illustration and interactive motion
  
  

Commitment:This is a 1-year contract position staffed via HireArt and based in Sunnyvale, CA. This is a hybrid role that will be open to candidates local to the Sunnyvale, CA area. It will require working onsite multiple times a week.
