Job Description

SS&C Intralinks is seeking Senior Software Engineer to join the core platform team. This team that you’ll be part of is responsible for extending, improving, and upkeep of the platform that serves as the backbone of world’s most advanced, secure virtual data room VDRPro™. This highly performant platform helps dealmakers close 10,000+ M&A deals annually and has successfully facilitated $35+ trillion worth financial transactions. As a member of this team, you are expected to get familiar with design and architecture of the core platform, thereafter we’ll look up to you to apply your expertise to help with continued growth of the platform thus helping the dealmakers across the world with timely completion of their transactions.

You are expected to

• Hold bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field along with 5+ years of experience building enterprise software
• Work in a development team with members having varying degrees of professional experience and expertise
• Develop high-quality, performant, secure code on schedule
• Provide operational support for critical platform problems impacting internal and/or external users
• Effectively propose and present technical ideas and solutions
• Serve as code reviewer ensuring defined code practice is followed
• Get trained on secure code practice and SDLC process
• Actively take part in Scrum ceremonies
• Be able to handle code release and deployment to Production environments

You should possess

• Intrinsic motivation to innovate, solve software related problems
• Ability to understand software requirements and estimate implementation schedule
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Scrum team
• Ability to self-learn complex frameworks and code flows
• Extensive development experience using Java, Spring Boot
• Strong knowledge of frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, JPA, Struts
• Experience using and integrating open-source libraries
• Experience with development and deployment of container-based microservices in Kubernetes
• Knowledge about patterns (software design, microservices, CI/CD, DevOps etc.)
• Proficiency in designing and developing REST APIs with JSON and XML payloads
• Experience working with messaging servers like ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka
• Exposure to tools like Chef, Jenkin, Gradle, Maven, Git
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL technologies Oracle, Postgres, MongoDB

Will be a plus if you

• Have experience working with Kotlin, Ruby, NodeJS, JavaScript, HTML5, Python
• Are experienced in Helm chart development
• Have experience developing software using object stores like MinIO, Amazon S3
• Are experienced in using or managing Nginx, OpenResty, Apache Tomcat
• Are certified Scrum Master
