This newly created role will report into the Director of Markets Activation for the Global Markets Success organization. This high-profile role drives the realization of global playbooks in-market, partnering with Market GMs, Business Units, and BizOps partners. It connects various departments during launches, working with local leaders to implement standard methods and insights, leading to business transformation and improving enterprise value. Key responsibilities include supporting in-market GTM planning, steering GTM plans, serving as connective tissue across functions, and managing reporting and updates.

Snr Manager - Markets Activation Lead, Global Markets Success

The position is hybrid and open to location (i.e. EUand UK office locations).

Position summary

This newly created role will report into the Director of Markets Activation for the Global Markets Success organization. This is a high profile role which will drive the realization of global playbooks in-market, partnering with relevant Market GMs, Business Units (BU), and BizOps partners. This role connects various departments during launches, working with local leaders to implement standard methods and insights, leading to business transformation and improving enterprise value.

  • Support In-Market GTM Planning for Global Playbooks: Facilitate the development of and implementation Go-To-Market (GTM) plans for assigned portfolio or initiative playbooks within individual markets, including International Markets
  • Steer and Deliver GTM Plans: Bring together critical partners from various functional areas and across launches to orchestrate and implement global playbooks in-market.
  • Serve as Connective Tissue across Functions: Facilitate communication and collaboration between global, local, and functional teams for a given launch, ensuring the reflection of standard processes and key takeaways for each market launch.
  • Management Reporting and Updates: Own regular business operations for the portfolio, defining relevant measurement methodologies and tracking against goals (in partnership with Finance and Analytics teams) via regular reporting cadences and touchpoints (MBRs, QBRs, etc.), and preparing executive-level deliverables for senior leadership presentations and readouts.

About you

  • Proven track record of strategic planning and execution, taking a project from idea to implementation in a large complex organization (a consulting / strategy background is helpful).
  • Strong excel (modeling, pivot tables, advanced functions) and Google Slides skills, with the ability to tell a story at various levels; Comfortable and hands-on with data, analytics, and modeling
  • Proven record of delivery and an ability to excel in a dynamic and fast paced environment, being able to influence and collaborate across teams
  • Strong communication skills in verbal and written (both long form and slides), quickly able to gain trust and confidence with people at all levels
  • Demonstrates a strong track record in effectively managing metrics that drive business performance, using an analytical approach
  • Experience with Project, Program management & delivery
  • Able to articulate challenges, blockers, problems effectively and be able to work through solutions with partners to overcome them
  • Highly organized, systematic problem solver who thrives on being efficient
  • Exposure to an ecommerce/ marketplaces is advantageous
