The Senior National Account Manager (SNAM) is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with top US/ROW retailers. They will coordinate marketing efforts, product launches, and sales promotions to meet sales and profit targets. Responsibilities include meeting revenue targets, selling Funko products, building relationships with senior buyers, managing a team, analyzing sales data, and creating presentations. They must also identify growth opportunities and meet quota and revenue targets. This role involves preparing sales forecasts and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Must have:
  • 5-8 years sales or retail management experience.
  • Knowledge of collectible/toy/CPG industry trends.
  • Out of the box thinker with a creative mindset.
  • Proven project management or sales experience.
  • Understanding of S&OP process.
  • History of successful conflict-resolution.
Good to have:
  • Experience with ERP or CRM systems (MS Dynamics NAV).
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite.

The Senior National Account Manager (SNAM) is responsible for creating, developing and maintaining ongoing business relationships with our Top US/ROW retailers, as well as managing a team of direct reports who support, or manage their own portfolio of accounts. Operating strategically, the SNAM will co-ordinate marketing efforts, product launches and sales promotions with the assigned accounts to achieve quarterly sales and profit targets.    

What You’ll Do
 
  • Hold full responsibility and meet assigned revenue targets for you and the wider team.
  • Proactively contact buyers to actively sell and support Funko portfolio of products, including our additional categories in Softlines and Games
  • Build outstanding relationships with Senior Buyers (DMMs) in all the key categories that Funko trade within
  • Identify, recruit and retain and develop any required members of your team.
  • Provide guidance on team objectives and provide constructive feedback on performance on an ongoing basis, undertaking competency reviews, 1:1s and team meetings where relevant.
  • Work alongside HR to effectively deal with any performance issues in a timely manner to ensure high standards are maintained
  • Analyzes POS, Shipping data and industry trends to suggest products and pricing to client.
  • Understands S&OP process to drive customer focused sales and build healthy product mix
  • Utilize sales and inventory reports to identify licenses and products to solicit your customers.
  • Identify and grow opportunities and collaborate with Sales Management to ensure strategic growth attainment plan.
  • Participate in continued education/training to learn about new and existing product lines and improve sales techniques; be a trusted advisor on all things Funko.
  • Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction resulting in increased productivity and achieving quarterly incentive goals.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual sales forecasts for all assigned accounts in order to control inventory levels in our own internal holds and also with the actual retailer inventory levels. 
  • Create and deliver presentations tailored to your customer’s long term business needs. 
  • Consistently meet quota and revenue targets 
 
 What You’ll Bring

  • 5-8 years’ experience in a Sales or Retail Management role, preferably for a consumer product company selling direct to large, national retailers.
  • Knowledge of collectible/toy/CPG industry and customer trends.
  • Out of the box thinker; creative and strategic mindset.
  • Proven project management or other relevant sales experience.
  • Understanding of S&OP process to drive customer focused sales and build product mix.
  • History of successful conflict-resolution of issues with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Project-oriented, pro-active, creative and self-motivated work style.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects amid changing priorities in a fast-paced environment while consistently delivering superior results within given deadlines.
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills.
  • Degree from accredited college.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to provide reports to management on customer's needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services. 
  • Experience with ERP or CRM systems preferred (MS Dynamics NAV)
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite  
 
Salary Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $105,000 - $130,500 annually.​Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Work Environment 
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
This position is based in Minneapolis, MN and is a hybrid schedule with Friday being a remote day.
