Vimeo is seeking a dynamic Sr. Renewals Manager to support EMEA customers, focusing on renewing and expanding client relationships. This role is crucial for driving customer retention and revenue growth by managing the renewal process, ensuring high customer satisfaction, and increasing the value of customer relationships. The ideal candidate will lead renewal strategies, collaborate with internal teams, negotiate contracts, monitor customer health, and deliver accurate forecasts.
Must have:
  • Lead and refine Vimeo’s renewals strategy to drive customer retention, reduce churn and identify expansion opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with Account Management and Customer Success teams to understand customer needs and address risk indicators
  • Negotiate contract terms, ensuring alignment with Vimeo’s commercial goals while prioritising customer satisfaction
  • Proactively monitor and address customer health metrics impacting renewals
  • Deliver accurate renewal forecasting and reporting on renewal activities, including revenue and retention metrics
  • Leverage market insights and competitor intelligence to continuously evolve renewal strategies and best practices
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor strategies
Good to have:
  • Additional language skills in German, Spanish or Italian
  • Familiarity with the video software sector
  • Multilingual skills

Vimeo is on the hunt for a dynamic Sr. Renewals Manager to support our EMEA customers. Are you ready to take charge of renewing and expanding Vimeo's client relationships? Vimeo, a leader in the innovative video experience platform, is looking for a Renewals Manager who is adept at driving customer retention and revenue growth. Your role is vital in managing the renewal process, maintaining high customer satisfaction, and boosting the value of our customer relationships.

What you'll do:

  • Lead and refine Vimeo’s renewals strategy to drive customer retention, reduce churn and identify expansion opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with the Account Management and Customer Success teams to deeply understand customer needs and proactively address risk indicators
  • Expertly negotiate contract terms, ensuring alignment with Vimeo’s commercial goals while prioritising customer satisfaction
  • Proactively monitor and address customer health metrics impacting renewals.
  • Deliver accurate renewal forecasting and reporting on renewal activities, including revenue and retention metrics.
  • Leverage market insights and competitor intelligence to continuously evolve renewal strategies and best practices
  • Stay ahead of the curve by keeping informed about industry trends and competitor strategies.

Skills and knowledge you should possess:

  • Fluent in English, additional language (additional language skills in German, Spanish or Italian highly desirable).
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in renewals or account management within a SaaS or tech environment.
  • Highly organised, detail oriented and metrics-driven with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Proven multitasking skills in a fast-paced setting, managing multiple accounts with ease.
  • Experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and data analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with the video software sector is a plus.
  • Multilingual skills are a plus, but not a requirement.
