We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk. We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

What you need to know about the role-
This Senior Storage Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the organization’s storage infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, availability, and scalability. This is a 'hands on role' that involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure alignment of storage architecture with business goals, driving innovation, and maintaining the highest standards of performance, and security.

This role is reports into Storage and Systems Services team In Infrastructure Platforms organization. This organization enables PayPal's Nextgen experiences to be accessible by 430M+ merchants and consumers in 200 countries. You will be joining a highly talented global organization that is responsible for delivering Global Network Services (Global Edge, Cloud networking, Backbone, DC Networks/NetSec, Corp Network, Telecom and Operations), Data Center Services (Physical Data Centers, and PoPs), Systems and Storage Services (Hybrid-Cloud Block, File, and Object storage Infrastructure), Compute Infrastructure (Physical, Virtual and Cloud compute infra engineering, SecOps), Hybrid-Multi-Cloud Center of Excellence (GCP, AWS, & Azure), and Business Units infrastructure (Xoom, Braintree and Hyperwallet.
