Job Description

The Strategic Partnerships Development Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key publishers and developers in China. This role requires fluency in Mandarin and English to effectively communicate with clients and regional partners. Responsibilities include acting as a trusted advisor, maximizing client growth through account management and strategic consulting, establishing partnerships with C-level developers, analyzing market trends, and developing account plans. The ideal candidate will have experience in advertising, publishing, or online services, and possess strong analytical and communication skills. The role involves working closely with the Online Partnerships Group and the Global Sellside organization within Google.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in client management and business or a related role.
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin and English fluently to partner with local clients and region partners.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in advertising, ads business generation, publishing, online services, or ad business.
  • Knowledge of the mobile or gaming industry.
  • Ability to identify and pursue opportunities.
  • Ability to engage and communicate with publishers and organizations.
  • Ability to work in a changing industry, and manage an evolving product set and client needs.
  • Excellent thinking and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor for partners, engage with C-level clients, and provide advice to motivate further business growth.
  • Maximize client business growth through account management, and by promoting improvements and strategies as a consultant.
  • Establish partnerships with C-level developers.
  • Analyze market trends and develop strategy and account plans for partners.
  • Work cross-functionally within Online Partnerships Group and through the Google and Global Sellside organization.
