Your Tasks

• Introduce and be responsible for strategy frameworks: You take responsibility for the introduction, maintenance, and further development of strategy frameworks (e.g., OKRs) that enable structured prioritization and evaluation of initiatives and create transparency.
• Ensure implementation: You ensure the implementation of strategic initiatives from planning to operational implementation, working closely with Tech, Product, and Marketing (S)VPs to ensure successful and measurable realization.
• Continuously develop strategy: You ensure that our strategy is regularly refined and adapted to market and technology developments.
• Keep an eye on technologies: You critically evaluate existing and emerging technologies and derive concrete courses of action for idealo.
• Identify potential: You identify relevant market and technology trends to recognize opportunities for new products, services, and platforms that strengthen idealo's growth.

What you bring

• Strategic and strong in implementation: You bring several years of experience in the development and implementation of digital strategies, ideally in e-commerce, at platform companies, or in strategy consulting.
• Framework expertise: You have experience with the introduction and application of strategy and prioritization frameworks (e.g., OKRs) and design them in such a way that they are sustainably used by teams.
• Communication and stakeholder competence: You enjoy working with different teams, can communicate at eye level with various stakeholders, and prepare content understandably and convincingly – in German and English.
• Hands-on mentality: You not only develop concepts but actively accompany their implementation until successful realization and design workshops and meetings for different target groups.
• Analytical and structured thinking: You can quickly grasp complex issues, prioritize them, and translate them into clear courses of action.
• Technology and market understanding: You follow technological developments and market trends and can use them for idealo's strategic direction.
