Job Description
As a Transport Strategy & Planning (Growth) specialist, you will drive Gojek's Transport (2-wheeler) business in Indonesia. Your responsibilities include framing business strategy, building and leading metrics for performance governance, and collaborating with product managers, marketing, research, business intelligence, and strategy teams. You will identify root causes and validate solutions through analytics and experiments, aiming to impact business profitability and customer experience.
Must have:
- BS/MS in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or equivalent experience
- 3 years of experience in a similar role
- At least 1 year of strong background in business acumen
- Strong project management skills
- Proficiency in analytic and database tools (e.g., Clevertap, Tableau)
- Good knowledge of SQL and experimentation process
- Hustle is essential
Good to have:
- Experience in SaaS, marketplace, ride hailing, food delivery or other technology companies

About the Role

As our Transport Strategy & Planning (Growth) specialist, you’ll take the wheel to drive Gojek’s Transport (2-wheeler) business across Indonesia. Along with framing business strategy, you will be in charge to build and lead metrics that help govern the efficiency and effectiveness of performance. Working closely with product managers, marketing, research, business intelligence and strategy, you will get to discover root causes and validate solutions through a robust methodology of analytics and experiments. The cherry on top: you’ll get to be a part of a team that works to impact the business profitability and improvement in Gojek’s customer experiences.
What Will You Do
- Take ownership of growth related KPIs that lead to revenue and profitability for 2W in ID; define the strategy and roadmap to achieve it by combining multiple initiatives (e.g., content/communication, vouchers/promotion, product changes)
- Discover growth opportunities in the business by exploring business data, transaction data, customer activity within apps and actual customer insights
- Drive the prioritization, strategy, and focus on solutions to solve user problems
- Validate business strategy and hypotheses through robust experimentation and statistical approach
- Present findings to senior management to drive business and strategic decision-making on feature prioritization and impact analysis.
What Will You Need
- BS/MS in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or equivalent experience
- 3 years of experience in a similar role, with at least 1 year of strong background in business acumen
- Strong project management skills to manage complex projects, also can manage and prioritize multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in multiple analytic and database tools common within a marketing organization (e.g., Clevertap, Tableau, etc.) with good knowledge of SQL and experimentation process
- Hustle is essential, moving quickly and executing to allow for continual iteration is a core competency of the team
- Experience in a SaaS, marketplace, ride hailing, food delivery or other technology companies is preferred.

We oversee all things transport (GoCar, GoRide) at Gojek and work to create delightful customer experience and growth for our company.
