We’re seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Studio Operations Technician for a hybrid opportunity in Santa Monica, California. In this role, you’ll support a dynamic production environment, ensuring seamless studio operations, technical readiness, and top-tier recording quality.
This opportunity offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, collaborative setting with a focus on precision, communication, and technical acumen. You’ll engage with team members, talent, and clients to ensure every recording session is executed flawlessly and efficiently.

Studio Operations Technician Responsibilities:
Operate cameras, lighting, and recording devices to ensure top-notch production quality.
Prepare and verify all equipment functionality prior to recording sessions.
Manage the recording process, adhering to scripts and established protocols.
Organize recorded materials for editing or distribution, utilizing software tools as needed.
Maintain high standards for all data and recordings.
Collaboration & Communication:
Foster effective communication with our client's team to ensure seamless workflows.
Interact professionally and amicably with casting agencies and models.
Maintain responsiveness in work chats, providing timely updates.
Documentation & Organization:
Keep internal documentation current and accurate.
Develop and update manuals for studio operations.
Prepare necessary paperwork for upcoming sessions.
Technical & Administrative Support:
Address and resolve technical issues during recording sessions.
Track studio supplies and alert when restocking is required.
Manage guest registrations through a security system.
Studio Operations Technician Qualifications:
Experience in video or photo production.
Technical expertise with studio equipment.
Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
Capacity to multitask and adapt to dynamic schedules.
Proficiency in drafting technical documentation.
