Job Description

As a Supplier Engagement Manager, you will work closely with product area stakeholders to ensure centralized Procurement at Google. You will oversee and manage the implementation, development, and enhancement of supplier initiatives within the procurement function. This role focuses on driving consistency, adoption, and value of key supplier partnership programs across Google. You will create roadmaps, timelines, and action plans for executing initiatives like third-party risk management and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) programs. You will engage with internal stakeholders, including procurement teams, executive finance management, and cross-functional departments, to communicate the importance of GPO supplier programs and foster support. You will also partner with cross-functional teams to develop policies, guidelines, and procedures related to GPO supplier programs, ensuring alignment with legal requirements, industry standards, and corporate values. Researching and implementing best practices in supplier management is also crucial to identify innovative approaches and industry trends to enhance program effectiveness.

  • Experience in developing, implementing, and driving adoption of procurement-related programs
Must Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent practical experience
  • 7 years of experience managing processes in procurement, supplier engagement, or supplier relationship roles
  • Experience with supplier relationship management (SRM) programs
  • Knowledge of industry-specific procurement regulations and standards
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Google Sheets, Tableau)
  • Ability to track and report on KPIs relevant to procurement activities

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$191,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of supplier programs within procurement by creating roadmaps, timelines, and action plans for executing initiatives, such as third-party risk management,and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) programs.
