Job Description

This role involves managing customer orders, daily/weekly production planning, and ensuring timely deliveries. The Material Planner will interact with customers, sales, and marketing to align demand with supply, manage finished goods inventory, and handle ECNs. Key responsibilities also include SAP MPS/MRP setup, monitoring production schedule adherence, and preparing service level reports. The position requires a B.E./B.Tech degree and 2-6 years of experience, with essential SAP knowledge.

Must Have:

Customer order booking, handling customer queries
Daily/Weekly Production planning, follow up’s with cross functional team to ensure smooth customer deliveries
Interact with Customers, sales & marketing to understand forecast drivers based on demand vs. supply
FG Inventory management & E&O inventory liquidation
ECN management
MIS report creation (Daily/Weekly/Monthly)
SAP MPS/MRP running & parameters set-up
Production Schedule adherence monitoring
Customer order tracking & reconciliation
Customer demand management, vehicle planning & approval/negotiations from customers
B.E./B.Tech degree
2-6 years minimum experience post qualification
SAP knowledge
Good organizational skills & ability to get along with people
Good oral and written communication and negotiating skills
Self directed, able to organize and maintain tight schedule

Material Planner - Production Control & Logistics

Roles and Responsibilities :

Customer order booking, handling customer queries.
Daily/Weekly Production planning , follow up’s with cross functional team to ensure smooth customer deliveries.

Daily/Weekly/monthly call with customers based on the requirement.
Weekly/Monthly service level report preparation & release to production team.
Documentation & shop floor improvement activities.
System audit activity planner & execution.
Departmental objective & process updation as per QMS system requirement.
Good organizational skills & ability to get along with people.
Requires good oral and written communication and negotiating skills.
Self directed, able to organize and maintain tight schedule.
