Job Description

The Team Lead - KAM - EDC - Ahmedabad will be responsible for engaging with premium merchants, tracking portfolios, and ensuring service delivery. Key duties include meeting sales targets for various payment solutions like QR codes, EDC machines, and financial products, enabling new business lines, and resolving merchant grievances. The role involves planning and executing daily team activities, gathering market feedback, and deploying products to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. Ideal candidates are self-starters, comfortable with ambiguity, possess strong sales and negotiation skills, and have an understanding of local geography.
Must have:
  • Engaging with Premium merchants, portfolio tracking, communication, service delivery.
  • Meeting sales targets for multiple payment solutions (QR, EDC, POS, insurance, financial products).
  • Enabling new business lines and promoting the brand.
  • Tracking and resolving merchant grievances.
  • Planning and executing day-to-day team activities, reviewing deliverables.
  • Gathering market feedback for existing offerings and competition insights.
  • Deploying products, articulating benefits, ensuring customer satisfaction, sales conversions, retention.
Good to have:
  • Fintech experience or some field experience

Job Details

Roles and responsibilities:

1. Engaging with Premium merchants like portfolio tracking, merchant communication, and ensuring service is delivered in assigned areas for assigned merchants.

2. Meeting sales targets of multiple payment solutions such as QR codes, EDC/card swipe machines, point of sales software, insurance, and other financial products ensuring product penetration along with revenue growth.

3. Enabling the new business line and promoting the brand in the marketplace. Track and attend to merchant's grievances and ensure its resolved on time.

4. Plan and execution of day-to-day activities along with the team and review team’s deliverables.

5. Gathering consistent feedback from the market for existing offerings and insights into the competition.

6. Deployment of products and articulation of benefits & best practices at client locations Ensuring customer satisfaction leading to higher sales conversions and retention.

1. Self-starters, who can take ownership without handholding and are comfortable navigating ambiguity, will be an ideal fit . Passionate about working in a fast-growing firm and ready to get their hands dirty.

2. Articulate complex solutions to novice customers.

3. Fintech experience or some field experience candidates to be priorities.

4. Honesty and trustworthiness are the most important virtues.

5. Good sales and negotiation skills and interest in financial products and markets·

6. Understanding of Local geography
