Environment BeNeLux has been selected as one of the five pilot labs in this ambitious program. The implementation in Analytico has been completed, and Omegam will follow in 2025. In addition to the LIMS system, a new customer portal, CRM, and commercial package will also be implemented at Omegam.
What will you do?
As an IT Solution Manager within Eurofins Omegam (Amsterdam), you will be responsible for developing and implementing IT solutions that align with our business goals. You will also be the one who, together with your team (4 FTE), ensures that daily operations (24/5) run smoothly. With the application specialists, you ensure that the software continues to run well. With your team, you solve malfunctions and help end-users; you are also a gatekeeper to ensure that new/modified software is tested and documented before rollout. You preferably have a background as a business analyst, allowing you to understand business processes and provide both substantive guidance to the IT team and engage in discussions with your stakeholders.
You will lead a team of developers, business analysts, and testers. In addition to handling recruitment, you will also be the driving force in improving IT processes, with a scrum master by your side to support you.
You will start by thoroughly understanding the current IT landscape to ensure operational continuity combined with projects to improve efficiency and effectiveness (both for operations and internal IT processes). In mid-2025, the project to implement the new LIMS will be kicked off, where you will play a key role in the implementation. This is not just the LIMS, but you will also be responsible for all integrations between the customer portal, customer (specific) links, lab equipment, etc.
In addition to your own team, much expertise is available within Eurofins; you will be the bridge-builder between your team and colleagues or corporate teams to share knowledge and expertise. You will also coordinate infra and security-related matters with specialists, both locally and corporately (Environment BeNeLux, Europe, or other locations worldwide). You have sufficient basic knowledge and/or a healthy interest in both areas to provide effective guidance.
