Job Description

The Technical Program Manager will plan, execute, and deliver technology projects aligning with organizational goals. This includes coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, and ensuring successful implementation of business technology solutions using Agile methodologies. Responsibilities include facilitating Scrum ceremonies, defining project scope, creating schedules, analyzing metrics, maintaining documentation, and identifying process improvements. The role also involves risk mitigation, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional team coordination. A minimum of 75 words is required.
Must have:
  • 3+ years of project management experience.
  • Experience in the IT sector.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Proficiency with project management tools.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
Good to have:
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience with Jira and similar tools.
  • Knowledge of automation tools like Workato.
  • Familiarity with data visualization platforms.
  • Basic programming or scripting knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience with business analysis techniques

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Technical Program Manager to join our Business Technology team. This role will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering technology projects that align with organizational objectives.

As a Program Manager, you will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project timelines and ensure successful implementation of business technology solutions. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a dedicated focus on continuous improvement and delivering high-quality results.

In this role, you will also be responsible to:

  • Plan and execute technology projects using established methodologies, primarily Agile

  • Serve as Scrum Master for project teams, facilitating Agile ceremonies and ensuring adherence to Scrum practices

  • Facilitate sprint stand-ups, sprint planning, and sprint review meetings

  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria with stakeholders

  • Create and maintain project schedules with realistic timelines and milestones

  • Analyze and report on project metrics and performance indicators

  • Create and maintain data visualizations and dashboards for project reporting

  • Maintain and improve project documentation systems

  • Proactively identify, suggest, and implement process improvements to increase team efficiency and delivery quality

  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and develop resolution strategies

  • Manage stakeholder communication and reporting activities

  • Coordinate activities across functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals

Requirements

Qualifications / Experience / Soft Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field

  • 3+ years of experience in project management roles

  • Experience working in the IT sector

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies with experience in Agile/Scrum

  • Proficiency with project management tools (JIRA, MS Project, Asana, etc.)

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities

  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams

Desired Skills

  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar project management tools

  • Knowledge of automation tools like Workato

  • Familiarity with data visualization platforms (e.g., Sigma, Tableau)

  • Basic programming or scripting knowledge is a plus

  • Experience with business analysis techniques
