Job Description

The Technical Solutions Consultant, Security (French) at Google Cloud Platform will provide excellent technical guidance to customers adopting GCP services. Responsibilities include designing secure cloud implementations, automating infrastructure provisioning, architecting cloud-ready applications, and providing prescriptive guidance. The role involves working with customer development leads, executives, and partners to deliver successful cloud security architectures, serving as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor. Collaboration with internal specialists and engineering teams to share best practices is crucial. This role requires managing project scope, priorities, and timelines for successful client outcomes. Approximately 30% travel is expected for client engagements.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree in STEM or equivalent experience
8+ years in technical troubleshooting and partner/customer management
Security architecture or engineering experience
Fluent French communication
Cloud security experience (preferred)

Good to have:

Experience implementing compliance frameworks in cloud environments
Google Cloud security expertise
Understanding of network protocols, web application security, and other security domains
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.
Experience in security architecture or security engineering.
Ability to communicate in French fluently to communicate in this customer-facing business role.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience in Cloud Security delivered within the context of customer-facing roles.
Experience implementing compliance frameworks and security requirements in a cloud environment.
Experience securing Google Cloud.
Experience understanding attacks and mitigation methods, in two or more of the following: network protocols and secure network design; web application security, security assessments and penetration testing, authentication and access control, applied cryptography and security protocols, security monitoring and intrusion detection, Incident response and forensics, development of security tools, automation or frameworks.
Excellent communication, written, presentation and problem solving skills.

As a Security Consultant, you will provide excellent technical guidance to customers adopting Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services. You will provide secure foundational cloud implementations, automated provisioning of infrastructure and applications, cloud-ready application architectures, and more. You will provide prescriptive guidance in ensuring customers receive the best of what GCP can offer and you will ensure that customers have the experience in migrating, building, modernizing, and maintaining applications on GCP. Additionally, you will work with Product Management and Product Engineering to drive in Google Cloud products and features.

Responsibilities

Work with customer development leads, client executives, and partners to manage and deliver successful cloud security architectures, serving as a cloud security and compliance subject matter expert and a trusted advisor to decision makers throughout the engagement.
Work with internal specialists, Product, and Engineering teams to package approaches and to share lessons learned into thought leadership, methodologies, and published assets.
Interact with Business, Partners, and customer technical stakeholders to manage project scope, priorities, deliverables, risks and issues, and timelines for successful client outcomes.
Travel approximately 30% of the time for client engagements as needed.
