Locations: Broomfield, CO onsite (Tuesdays and Wednesdays)

Reports to: Technical Support Manager

The Technical Consultant is critical to the overall success of Conga, its customers and business partners. A successful candidate will possess keen problem-solving and customer service skills that will allow them to successfully troubleshoot a technical issue to resolution while simultaneously delivering an amazing customer experience.

Day-to-day tasks involve providing assistance to customers who encounter issues with Conga products. This includes troubleshooting technical problems, managing support tickets, communicating with customers to understand their issues, collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex issues, and creating or updating knowledge base articles. Additionally, advocating for customer needs is an essential part of the role.

Our Technical Support Consultants are a part of our customer-facing technical support organization. They represent Conga when our customers need us most and are an important brand representative. They don’t just simply fix problems; they provide consultative guidance to our customers in best practices and help our customers better use our products.

 

Are you the person we’re looking for?

 

You’re passionate about troubleshooting and logic-based thinking. Your proven ability to analyze and apply logical thinking to determine the root cause of an issue is fundamental to success in this role. Proven experience in a client support role or in a delivery role has prepared you to effectively investigate technical issues, prioritize and escalate as needed, to ensure timely resolutions that are in line with client SLAs. You have experience with advanced SQL scripting / SQL or SFDC. Programming languages (Apex/JavaScript). You can easily understand how systems interact/integrate as well as how changes in one application will affect others. Experience working with APIs will help you hit the ground running.

 

Customer experience skills. Creating an amazing customer experience is your primary goal! You have real-world experience in a support or customer-facing role and the ability to deliver a positive experience through each interaction.

 

Case Management: Manage support tickets through a ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation of customer interactions and solutions provided.

 

Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and peers, to resolve complex technical issues and enhance product quality.

 

Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of the Conga products, including new features, updates, and best practices, to effectively support customers.

 

Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including knowledge base and troubleshooting guides, to assist customers and internal teams in resolving common issues.

 

Here’s what will give you an edge…

 

Technical communicator. Along with providing world-class technical support, you also are comfortable sharing your knowledge with your peers and customers. You’re able to communicate complex ideas to a wide audience of varying technical knowledge.

 

Consultative approach. Sometimes fixing a technical problem isn’t the best answer. You’ll need to be comfortable working closely with customers to maximize their use of Conga products.

 

Salesforce experience. Experience as a Salesforce Admin or developer is a plus

Listed below is the U.S. base salary range for this full-time position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education, or training. In addition to base salary, Conganeers receive a variable incentive pay component, perks such as flexible work options, and a full range of benefits including medical and dental insurance. 

The posted salary ranges are for the expectations outlined in the job description.  We are often open to a wide variety of profiles and sometimes have flexibility within our organizational structure to adjust the role responsibilities up or down should we select a candidate that is less or more experienced than the posted job requirements.  In these occasional cases, we will communicate the revised salary range to the candidate during the selection process.

U.S base salary range:

$62,154 - $83,360 USD
