Summary

This is an 18-month Technician Trainee program in Theatre Support at Hong Kong Disneyland. Responsibilities include assisting with stage machine operation and daily inspections, supporting maintenance, performing automation controller clearances, conducting lubrication and visual checks of stage machinery, and completing ad-hoc tasks. The program offers on-the-job training and a potential promotion to Technician upon successful completion. Shift work, including weekends and public holidays, is required. A tertiary education in any engineering discipline is necessary. Working at heights is a job requirement.

This position requires shift duty.
Typical shift hour: Morning shift (8:00am to 8:00pm)

Responsibilities:

  • Assist duty technician process a stage machine & control daily inspection
  • Support team in collective maintenance
  • Regular clearance for automation controller
  • Conduct stage machine lubrication and visual check
  • Perform any ad hoc tasks as per assigned

Basic Qualifications:

  • Willingness to learn and develop a basic maintenance skill
  • Tertiary education majoring in any engineering discipline
  • Working at height is required
  • Trainee program is an 18-month comprehensive program with on the job training. Successful applicant with good performance completing the program will be promoted to Technician.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in show related maintenance / knowledge in theatre equipment is an advantage

Our Theme Park and Resort Hotels operate 365 days a year. Candidates will need to work shifts according to a roster that is determined by the Company, including shifts on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.
