Walt Disney Imagineering is seeking a Graphic Design Intern for Spring 2026 to join the team in Orlando, FL. This role involves developing creative information design presentations, signage, and show graphics for Disney Parks and Resorts. Interns will build presentations, support environmental graphic design projects, prepare signage design information, and provide design documentation using illustrations, photographs, and research. The internship runs from January 2026 to May/June 2026.
Must have:
  • Experience with thoughtful design, artistic skills, and professional judgment in solving graphics and signage design challenges
  • Strong skills with design and illustration tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, Sketch-up, and MS Office Suite
  • Experience using Keynote
  • Valid Driver’s License Required
  • Currently enrolled as a Junior or higher in an accredited college/university earning a degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Architecture, Graphic Arts, Graphic Communications, Production Design, or related visual art field
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program
  • Able to provide reliable transportation to/from work
  • Must be fully available for the duration of the internship
  • A portfolio review is required for this position
Good to have:
  • Minimum one year experience in Graphic Design practice, or one or more years in a professional internship
  • Familiarity with Information Design and presentation decks
  • Familiarity with Environmental Graphic design, sign construction techniques, and related areas including architecture, interior design and landscape design
  • Familiarity with video editing and video editing programs including After Effects and/or Premier
  • 3D modelling experience with programs such as Rhino, Revit, Maya, and/or ZBrush
  • Prior Disney experience and knowledge
  • Membership in Society of Environmental Graphic Design

What You Will Do

We are looking for a Graphic Design intern who will work with the team that develops creative information design presentations, signage and show graphics to help sell the ideas and tell the stories throughout the Disney Parks and Resorts! As an intern on the team, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Build information design presentations that support various phases of a creative idea or project
  • Provide support to various Environmental Graphic design projects by assisting in project design development and technical documentation
  • Prepare Signage design information and documentation
  • Provide design documentation in the form of illustration, photographs, scaled images, graphics and research on assigned projects

Required Qualifications & Skills

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.

The pay rate for this role in Orlando, FL is $26.50 for undergraduate students and $27.50 per hour for graduate level students.
