Must have:

  • Bilingual in Spanish (fluent in reading, writing, speaking, leading meetings).
  • 5+ years of pool industry experience.
  • Professional outside sales experience with proven sales growth.
  • Electro-mechanical skills for training, troubleshooting, and recommendations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, follow-up, and documentation skills.

We have an opportunity for a Territory Sales Manager to join our Pool & Spa business, managing several markets within Latin America! In this individual contributor role, you will own your territory and sell Pentair’s highly successful products & brands, including pool filtration systems, pumps, heaters, automation systems, and more. You will sell primarily through authorized distributors, professional dealers, and pool installers/servicers, effectively utilizing marketing programs and promotional material, leveraging field resources, and providing technical product training.

This job posting is for one territory sales position. You can live in or near any of the posted locations and within reasonable driving distance of a major international airport for this position. When you are not travelling for work, you will work from home. #LI-Remote

You will:

  • Manage and grow assigned Pentair businesses by identifying and nurturing new and existing key relationships with channel partners, including pool distributors, builders, dealers, as well as service and retail customers.
  • Build relationships with key channel partners and influence sales of Pentair products and services by holding regular technical presentations, training seminars, and/or providing on-site support.
  • Develop and utilize a strong technical understanding of our products across the entire professional channel / portfolio to address customer needs and promote brand awareness and preference among our distributor partners.
  • Analyze customer specifications to determine proper product applications and/or accessories, provide expertise and recommend solutions to application and performance problems related to products in the field.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in Spanish, such that you can read, write and speak fluently, as well as lead business meetings with Spanish-speaking customers, is required.
  • Have earned a bachelor’s (B.A. or B.S.) degree preferred.
  • Have 5+ years of pool industry experience.
  • Professional outside sales experience to include managing a territory, with a proven ability to grow sales from identification of customer to execution of contract or sales order.
  • Have electro-mechanical skills and ability to train others, troubleshoot issues, and provide recommendations on pool equipment.
  • Ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Excel and CRM software (Salesforce, etc).
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, organize, plan, meet difficult deadlines and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, follow-up, and documentation skills.
  • High energy, self-starter, and goal oriented. Eager to meet and exceed goals and targets.

Travel:

  • Up to 50% overnight international travel to dealers, distributors, customers, events, tradeshows, and other business-related meetings in the assigned territory.

Compensation:

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated total target cash (TTC) range will be from $92200 - $171100 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs. This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as sales incentive bonus.
