Job Summary
Job Description
This internship involves executing test plans and developing scripts for communication devices, requiring a good understanding of the software lifecycle. The intern will create dynamic API/method calls for re-usability, coordinate test idea design and script reviews, and perform technical analysis to solve complex problems. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with proficiency in programming languages like Java, XML, or Python.
Must have:
- Responsible for executing test plans/scenarios/develop scripts for communication devices
- Possess a good understanding of the various software lifecycle
- Create new dynamic API/method calls for re-usability in multiple test scripts
- Coordinate and participate in test idea design and script review
- Perform necessary analysis required for the project, identify and solve complex technical problems
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or any related field
- Able to write and test code using Java, XML, Python, or similar programming languages
- Able to troubleshoot and creatively resolve execution failures
- Experience with test case management tool (ALM/Testrail)
- Familiar with AI tools development
- Willing to work in Bayan Lepas, Penang
- Able to start December
Good to have:
- Good foundation knowledge of C, C++, and C# design
- Experience in Android testing
- Knowledge of GPS, 3G, 4G and WiFi technology

Job Description
- Responsible for executing test plans/scenarios/develop scripts for communication devices for the professional and mission-critical markets in the commercial, government and industrial segments per specifications.
- Possess a good understanding of the various software lifecycle
- Create new dynamic API/method calls for re-usability in multiple test scripts.
- Coordinate and participate in test idea design and script review
- Perform necessary analysis required for the project, identify and solve complex technical problems requiring proper evaluation and analysis as well as make decisions that positively impact the project.
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or any related field.
- Able to write and test code using Java, XML, Python, or similar programming languages.
- Able to troubleshoot and creatively resolve execution failures.
- Experience with test case management tool (ALM/Testrail)
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Familiar with AI tools development.
- Ability to work and communicate well across different design centers
- Good foundation knowledge of C, C++, and C# design will be an added advantage.
- Experience in Android testing is a plus.
- Knowledge of GPS, 3G, 4G and WiFi technology is a plus.
- Candidates must be willing to work in Bayan Lepas, Penang.
- Able to start December
