Job Description

DXC-Luxoft is seeking a Test Lead to work on cutting-edge automotive technologies, specifically NAD validation within a leading automotive group. The role involves defining and maintaining test strategies, leading planning and execution of testing, coordinating test case development and analysis, and collaborating with various teams to ensure timely defect resolution and release readiness. Responsibilities include ensuring test coverage, managing testing tools, and preparing reports. The project involves working with modern toolchains and test automation frameworks. Flexible working model is offered, hybrid or on-site depending on project phase.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's/Master's in related field
  • 10+ years automotive testing experience
  • Experience leading embedded systems testing
  • Knowledge of telecommunication protocols
  • Hands-on experience with testing tools
  • Understanding of test levels and methodologies
  • Familiarity with diagnostics and flashing procedures
  • Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence
  • Excellent communication skills
Good to have:
  • Prior experience with Volkswagen Group projects
  • ISTQB Test Manager certification
  • Knowledge of ASPICE and ISO 26262
  • Familiarity with test automation strategies
  • Experience in Agile or SAFe environments
  • Background in international collaboration
  • German language B2+

Responsibilities

Define and maintain the test strategy and test plan for NAD (network access devices) validation across multiple platforms .

Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of both bench and field testing activities, covering scenarios such as roaming, VoLTE, eCall and PTCRB.

Coordinate and oversee test case development, execution, and result analysis across distributed teams.

Collaborate closely with integration, development, and defect management teams to ensure traceability, timely defect resolution and readiness for release.

Ensure test coverage completeness based on system requirements and NAD specifications.

Manage the use and configuration of key tools including ODIS, QXDM, CP-Tool, CANoe, Wireshark, CodeBeamer and vehicle loggers (e.g., TTTech Logger).

Guarantee test infrastructure readiness, including test bench hardware, software updates and diagnostic tools.

Monitor progress against testing milestones, ensure defect closure, and verify alignment with defined acceptance criteria.

Prepare and review test reports, defect metrics and status dashboards using JIRA and Confluence.

bullet icon

Drive continuous improvement in test processes and ensure alignment with customer quality requirements.

Lead or support lessons learned workshops, root cause analysis (RCA) and presentations to internal and customer stakeholders.

Skills

Must have

bullet icon

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or a related field.

bullet icon

10+ years of experience in automotive testing, particularly in connectivity, telematics or infotainment.

bullet icon

Proven track record leading testing efforts for embedded systems, especially NAD/TCU projects.

bullet icon

Solid knowledge of telecommunication protocols: LTE, 5G, IMS, VoLTE.

bullet icon

Hands-on experience with tools such as QXDM, ODIS, CANoe, CP-Tool, Wireshark and CodeBeamer.

bullet icon

Deep understanding of test levels (component, system, integration, regression) and field validation methodologies.

bullet icon

Familiarity with diagnostics, flashing procedures and software update mechanisms.

bullet icon

Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence and managing test documentation workflows.

Excellent communication skills
