We are looking for a UI Designer/Artist (project-based, ~4 months, October/January) to join our team and work on a multiplatform video game currently in production. The role focuses on designing and implementing UI textures and assets in Unreal Engine.
Responsibilities
- Design and create UI assets for the game: icons, buttons, HUD elements, menus, maps, and other interface components.
- Work closely with Game Designers and UI Programmers to integrate and implement assets in Unreal Engine.
- Ensure visual consistency, clarity, and readability of the UI in line with the game’s art direction.
- Contribute creative ideas and propose improvements to enhance the overall player experience.
Requirements
- Experience as a UI Artist/Designer in the video game industry.
- Portfolio showcasing UI textures and interfaces for videogames.
- Proficiency with graphic design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or similar).
- Familiarity with Unreal Engine asset integration.
Nice to Have
- Experience with motion graphics / animated UI for video games.
- Knowledge of UX principles applied to games (user flows, accessibility, usability).
