Estoty is a mobile game development studio seeking a Unity Developer for its User Acquisition team. The role involves modifying existing Unity game builds, creating custom scenes, and implementing unique mechanics for marketing campaigns. Responsibilities include optimizing performance, troubleshooting bugs, collaborating with UA and creative teams, and maintaining clean code. This position requires 2-4 years of experience with Unity and C#, a strong understanding of Unity's architecture, and proven ability to modify projects. The candidate should be comfortable working with marketing teams and have good communication and problem-solving skills.
Must have:

Role

We're seeking a Unity Developer to join our User Acquisition team! You'll work on marketing-focused game builds by modifying projects, creating custom scenes, and adding unique mechanics. Collaborate with developers and marketers to deliver high-quality, performance-optimized builds that support campaign goals.


Responsibilities

  • Modify and extend Unity game builds to create variants for marketing campaigns;
     
  • Design and implement lightweight gameplay mechanics and interactive features tailored to user acquisition testing;
     
  • Build custom scenes and mini-experiences using Unity, ensuring they reflect key game dynamics;
     
  • Optimize assets, scenes, and performance across devices and platforms;
     
  • Troubleshoot bugs and resolve issues quickly to meet creative production timelines;
     
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions by offering technical insight on feasibility and implementation;
     
  • Collaborate with UA, creative, and development teams;
     
  • Maintain clean, modular, and well-documented code in line with internal development standards. 


Requirements

  • 2–4 years of professional experience using Unity and C# for game development;
     
  • Strong understanding of Unity’s component-based architecture, including prefabs, UI systems, and animation workflows;
     
  • Proven ability to modify and extend existing game projects, including implementing new mechanics and building custom scenes;
     
  • Solid debugging skills and the ability to quickly resolve issues in a fast-paced production environment;
     
  • Comfortable working with marketing and creative teams, translating ideas into technically feasible implementations;
     
  • Familiarity with Unity build pipelines and preparing projects for multiple devices and configurations;
     
  • Clear communication, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
     

Nice to have

  • Experience with mobile user acquisition is a big plus - good understanding of what’s good for marketability, industry trends;
     
  • Ability to rapidly prototype features or gameplay variations based on creative briefs;
     
  • Understanding of how creative variations impact UA metrics and player engagement;
     
  • Basic knowledge of version control systems like Git.
