Job Description

Estoty is seeking a creative Animator for their Vilnius studio to join a team dedicated to creating successful mobile games. The role involves creating VFX for gameplay and UI, respecting technical constraints, staying updated with new technologies, and integrating VFX into the Unity game engine in collaboration with animators and developers. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of character and prop animation for games, animation composite development, basic VFX creation and implementation, strong visual awareness, rigging and weight painting knowledge, experience with 3D animation software like Maya or Blender, good communication and organizational skills, and Unity 3D experience. This is a full-time position offering a friendly atmosphere, freedom for idea generation, the opportunity to contribute to a globally played mobile game, and participation in an employee share options scheme.

Role

Estoty Vilnius is looking for a creative animator to be a part of a dedicated team of talented professionals passionate about creating the next big hit.

Responsibilities

Create VFX both related to gameplay but also to the graphic design (UI);
Respect the technical constraints in order to create attractive and functional effects;
Adapt to software upgrades and stay up to date with new technologies;
Integrate your VFX into the Unity game engine in coordination with the animators and developers.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of characters, creatures, props, vehicles, weapons, objects, etc. animation for use in game;
Skills of animation composites development;
The ability to create and implement basic VFX;
Strong visual awareness and artistic ability;
Rigging and weight painting knowledge;
Knowledge of 3D animation software such as Maya or Blender, work experience with files created in both softwares;
Good communication and organizational skills;
The ability to work as part of a team;
Unity 3D experience.
