Job Summary

The Riga studio is seeking a creative Level Designer to join a dedicated team focused on developing the next big hit game. This role involves designing and creating engaging levels and rich gameplay experiences. The Level Designer will work closely with the Lead Designer and Team Lead to ensure a coherent gameplay experience. Key responsibilities include crafting spaces that leverage game mechanics, fine-tuning encounters and puzzles, collaborating with art and programming teams, and developing visually appealing level environments.

Must Have

Create engaging spaces that push gameplay mechanics
Tune key aspects of the game mechanics, including encounters, puzzles, and collisions
Work alongside the Art team to build relationships between gameplay elements
Collaborate with programmers to create new tools and systems
Create eye-pleasing level environments
At least 2 years of professional experience in level design or similar role
Proficiency in use of data management and Excel spreadsheets
Strong communication skills and the ability to convey abstract concepts with other members of the team
Knowledgeable in mobile, console, and PC games
Knowledge of Latvian and English

Good to Have

Experience with Unity engine
A portfolio of mobile titles

Role

The Riga studio is looking for a creative level designer to be a part of a dedicated team of talented professionals passionate about creating the next big hit! As a level designer, you will be responsible for developing levels and experiences that are engaging and rich in gameplay. You will be working under our Lead Designer and Team Lead to help produce an engaging and coherent gameplay experience.

Responsibilities

Create engaging spaces that push gameplay mechanics;

Requirements
