Limit Break is seeking a skilled Unity Level Integrator to join their experienced development team. This role involves creating engaging and captivating experiences for an exciting new IP. The ideal candidate will integrate various assets, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to improving level design processes and tools.
Must have:
  • Integrate 3D assets, animations, VFX, sound, and Unity components to implement engaging levels and experiences using Unity editor-based tools.
  • Collaborate closely with game designers, artists, and engineers to achieve cohesive game experiences.
  • Define and provide best practice documentation, template reference prefabs, and assets for other integrators to quickly produce high-quality levels.
  • Advocate for and maintain content pipelines and technical requirements necessary for high-content game level integration.
  • Continuously seek and propose improvements to level design processes and tools.
  • Implement custom behaviors using Unity components.
Good to have:
  • Ability to understand and adjust VFX, lighting, and other assets as needed.
  • Knowledge of technical implementation and scripting experience.
  • Passion for mobile games and game design, especially animation-heavy titles.

About the Role

At Limit Break, we are looking for a skilled Unity Level Integrator to work with our experienced development team to create engaging and captivating experiences for an exciting new IP.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate 3D assets, animations, VFX, sound, and Unity components to implement engaging levels and experiences using Unity editor-based tools.
  • Collaborate closely with game designers, artists, and engineers to achieve cohesive game experiences.
  • Define and provide best practice documentation, template reference prefabs, and assets that other integrators can leverage to quickly produce high-quality levels.
  • Advocate for and maintain content pipelines and technical requirements necessary for high-content game level integration.
  • Continuously seek and propose improvements to level design processes and tools.
  • Implement custom behaviors using Unity components.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 5+ years of game development experience with a focus on 3D level design or technical art using Unity.
  • Proven experience assembling and integrating 3D models, animations, VFX, audio, and interactive elements within Unity.
  • Expertise in Unity Prefabs and Prefab Variants.
  • Proficiency in using Unity's editor tools for level design and implementation.
  • Experience using Unity Timeline, Mecanim, Animator Controllers, and other Unity assets and components.
  • Proficiency with Git.
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating visually appealing game environments.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively in a team environment.
  • Proactiveness, ownership, and a problem-solving mindset.
  • A 'roll up your sleeves' mindset to get any job done.

Welcome Skills

  • Ability to understand and adjust VFX, lighting, and other assets as needed.
