Apple's wireless silicon development team is seeking a Wireless PHY Design Verification Engineer to be responsible for ASIC pre-silicon verification of highly efficient and low-power Wireless Physical Layer. This role involves verifying sophisticated PHY technology and protocols through testbench development, systems modeling, test planning and implementation, data analysis, root cause analysis, and driving feature closure. The engineer will be instrumental in developing the next generation of wireless technology. Responsibilities include test planning, bring-up, and closure for features or subsystems, developing test bench environments, infrastructure, methodologies, and automation. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to define verification requirements and analyze results is key. The role also involves developing constrained randomization scenarios, debugging, tracking and closing regression issues, and developing data analysis metrics for regression and coverage data.
