Work student AI Software Engineer

Nordson Test & Inspection, a leading provider of advanced inspection and testing solutions, is seeking a highly motivated and talented work student to join our team in Eckental, Germany, as a AI Software Engineer (m/f/d). This is for a max. of 20 hours/week.

Summary of the role

In your role as work student AI Software Engineer (m/f/d) your aim is to support the AI team in building solutions and take over engineering tasks within the team.

This role involves a lot of learning and the ability to learn fast in a domain which is evolving all the time.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, where your ideas and contributions will be valued and respected.

Role and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with fellow engineers to create an AI solution.

• The role involves coding in python.

• Investigate data provided by the AI team and find patterns in it.

• Report results of the exploration within the dataset to the team lead and create a report.

• Utilize libraries like, PyTorch, Tensorflow, Sci-Kit learn and Pandas .

Skills and Qualifications

• Know how to code in Python

• Knowledge in statistics and math which are necessary to work in the field of AI

• Strong will to learn and adapt during the internship

• Interest to the domain and be an active member of the team

• Having the will to integrate in an international team which might need to adjust active hours on certain occasions
