Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Workato Developer to lead the design, development, and optimization of integration automation workflows. This role will streamline critical business processes by building robust recipes, connectors, and integrations. Your work will support engineering and operations, reducing manual effort and enhancing system efficiency, handling complex API integrations, data transformations, and error handling workflows, while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Must have:
  • Design, build, and maintain integrations using Workato to connect Salesforce, ERP, and other internal systems
  • Author and manage Workato recipes, connectors, and integration logic
  • Handle complex API integrations, data transformations, and error handling workflows
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into automation solutions
  • Document architecture and configuration settings; maintain an internal knowledge repository
  • Monitor workflow execution, troubleshoot issues, and implement continuous improvements
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a Workato Developer or in enterprise integration development
  • Workato Certified (developer and/or architect level)
  • Strong experience with API integration, webhooks, data mapping, and error handling
  • Comfortable working with JSON, REST/SOAP protocols, and common data formats
Good to have:
  • Experience integrating within Salesforce, NetSuite, SAP, or other ERP systems
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools or automation frameworks (e.g., version control, CI/CD pipelines)
  • Background in regulated or compliance-conscious environments (e.g., DoD, FedRAMP)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience

Your work will support engineering and operations, reducing manual effort and enhancing system efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain integrations using Workato to connect Salesforce, ERP, and other internal systems
  • Author and manage recipes, connectors, and integration logic, ensuring data accuracy and performance
  • Handle complex API integrations, data transformations, and error handling workflows
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, IT, Sales Ops) to gather requirements and translate them into automation solutions
  • Document architecture and configuration settings; maintain an internal knowledge repository
  • Monitor workflow execution, troubleshoot issues, and implement continuous improvements
  • Promote best practices in integration design and automation across the organization

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a Workato Developer or in enterprise integration development
  • Workato Certified (developer and/or architect level)
  • Strong experience with API integration, webhooks, data mapping, and error handling
  • Comfortable working with JSON, REST/SOAP protocols, and common data formats
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in fast-paced environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience (preferred)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience integrating within Salesforce, NetSuite, SAP, or other ERP systems
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools or automation frameworks (e.g., version control, CI/CD pipelines)
  • Background in regulated or compliance-conscious environments (e.g., DoD, FedRAMP)

Physical Demands:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Occasional standing and walking within the office
  • Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment
  • Visual acuity to read screens, documents, and reports
  • Occasional reaching, bending, or stooping to access file drawers, cabinets, or office supplies
  • Lifting and carrying items up to 20 pounds occasionally (e.g., office supplies, packages)
