Job Description

This Working Student position involves developing and adapting embedded software and/or desktop applications, focusing on automotive ethernet audio networks. Responsibilities include building, benchmarking, and analyzing these networks, along with documenting software and hardware setups. Candidates should be students of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Physics, with initial experience in automotive systems, C/C++ programming, and 32-bit Arm microcontrollers. The role requires analytical thinking, good communication skills, and a passion for working in a multi-national, high-tech environment.
Must have:
  • Developing embedded SW and/or desktop applications
  • Adaptation of existing SW to specific needs
  • Buildup of automotive ethernet audio networks
  • Benchmarking and analyzing of automotive ethernet audio devices
  • Documentation of implemented SW and HW setups
  • Experience with Programming language C and C++ (or other object-oriented language)
  • Experience with 32-bit Arm microcontrollers
Good to have:
  • Basic understanding of Ethernet and SPI/I²C
  • Basic understanding of usage of lab instruments (e.g. oscilloscope, function generator)

Job Details

Responsibilities:

Preferred background:

Experience with:

  • Programming language C and C++ (or other object-oriented language)
  • 32-bit Arm microcontrollers expected

Knowledge of:

  • Ethernet and SPI/I²C – basic understanding
  • Usage of lab instruments (e.g. oscilloscope, function generator) – basic understanding

Your Profile:

  • Student of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Physics
  • First experience with automotive systems and able to work independently and accurately
  • Likes to work in a high-tech company, cutting edge, with international exposure
  • Passion to work in a multi-national team, capable to communicate and interact in English
  • Analytical thinking and good communication skills
