What to expect when joining our team?

Our mission is to build optimised landing pages and web services that turn organic visitors into loyal users of our web and native apps. With strong brands like kaufDA, Bonial.fr, and MeinProspekt, we’ve been dominating the top search rankings in the retail space for over 17 years.

We’re continuously modernising the full technical stack behind our landing pages, editorial tooling, and web apps - and you’ll get the opportunity to learn from and contribute to this transformation while discovering what areas excite you most across frontend, backend, infrastructure, and more.

Your role as Working Student Engineer

You’ll be part of a collaborative, cross-functional team that values code quality, performance, and impact. After a proper onboarding phase, you’ll support the team hands-on.

Job requirements

You will:

• Contribute to our frontend services using React, Next.js, and TypeScript
• Learn how we build and maintain backend services using Node.js and Fastify
• Understand how APIs connect to our headless CMS platforms (e.g. Strapi, Directus) and internal services
• Support infrastructure and DevOps tasks, such as CI/CD, containerization, or monitoring
• Join regular team meetings and collaborate with engineers, product managers, and marketing stakeholders

What We're Looking For:

What makes you a great fit?

• You’re currently studying Computer Science, (Business) Informatics, or a related field (Bachelor or Master)
• You already have basic experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and web technologies
• You are curious, hands-on, and open to exploring different areas of the full stack
• You enjoy working with others and communicate clearly in English
• You’re available for up to 20 hours per week during the semester
